Wi-Fi QR code generator
Guests point their phone camera at the code and join your network, without typing the password.
The free generator needs JavaScript. Dynamic codes in the dashboard do not.
What you type never leaves your browser. The faded code is a sample until you type.
Need to change a code after printing? A free dynamic code holds a link you can edit later.
Questions
How do guests join with it?
They open the camera app and point it at the code, then tap the prompt to join. Recent iPhones and Android phones read Wi-Fi codes this way.
What if I change the password?
Make a new code. A static code holds the network name and password themselves, so the old code keeps offering the old password.
Which security should I pick?
The one your router uses, which is usually WPA/WPA2. WEP is outdated and easy to break, so switch the router away from it if you can.
Is my password sent anywhere?
No. The code is made in your browser, and what you type never leaves this page.
Does the code expire?
No. Nothing is hosted: the code holds everything itself, so it works for as long as the details in it do.
